7 of swords as feelings for someone?
Could this mean that the person is denying their true feelings for the person they are lying to themselves? The next card was the emporor for how my ex feels about me.

hey memo20
I would just take a 7S as a card about a "feelings" question to say their arent any .... swords are all intellect and logic, no emotion there. So the question is not being affirmed in any way emotionally (no cups).
The emperor is simply "viewpoint" about something and carries no feelings one way or the other... you need to see some cups to get anywhere with a "feelings" question |

Do you have two cards in your question?
first card is 7swards?
second card is Emperor?
in this case ,
You cannot know about feeling of this person
Because Emperor is viewpoint , same mparkes say,
So,
Emperor is line boundaries between the past and the future.
For any card ,
Card coming before Emperor is the Future
Card Coming after Emperor is the Past
So,
7sword is The Future action(intellect and logic) for this person and you will known in future. And it cannot tell any feeling in the past of this person.
