Has a crystal, stone, etc... ever change ?

Have a piece that changed in the week since buying it.

Stopped in to visit the store owner and took out the piece and they claimed it was different, so I put it by the ones it was near and the difference was easy to see, the colors were darker, deeper. Interesting to be sure.


Has anyone had something change after adoption?

yup, I bought a nice chunk of smokey quartz, and I checked to see if it had any record keepers on it..(hieroglyphics) and when i bought it, it did not.
Funnily enough I kept checking, and about a week later record keepers appeared....which i thought was pretty cool :))

I had a small double terminator quartz crystal. It cracked and fell apart along its length. Shortly afterwards, an unknown visitor dropped by. He had fine stainless steel wire for making crystal jewelry, and he wired my crystal together. He indicated that it might heal. I had not paid much attention to the crystal for about a year, until I noticed that the crystal no longer appeared to be broken. I unraveled the wire, and the crystal showed a hairline fracture, but it was in one piece again. I was impressed!

I had a small labradorite cabochon that was rather dull, so when my friend bought me a large chunk of brilliant spectrolite, I was happy. I placed the cabochon over the large piece, and now I'm noticing that it is always shining! Normally I had to look for the iridescence and play around with light, but now, whenever I pass by, it's shining right at me!
