When nothing is happening, is something happening?
When you feel like your life is on a hamster wheel, and one day after another is the same is it really the same, or is something profound happening? In the monotony of this period of your life, is something actually quite profound happening? Or is it really just like it appears. Nothing is changing. Nothing is happening. What do you think?

I'd like to think so. Usually I know that after that period of same-same-ness, things get shaken up again to a new level, slightly above or of a different flavor than before. Call it, "slow evolution. |
