Sugar scrub?
Heya :)
I've got an idea for a scrub which I actually got from using Stevia powder on my skin to treat my acne.
Whenever the concentration of Stevia would be rather high in the cream I made (which is basically coconut oil mixed with Stevia) I noticed that it had a very strong peeling effect. But since Stevia is kind of expensive around here I thought for a moment to use a regular sugar scrub. Having a sensitive skin which spots easily I have to watch what's in there, though, as anything that's an alcohol of some kind or something like it will only make things worse.
So then I thought of the following; powdered sugar in egg white :)
Egg white is said to be good for the skin and sugar is very hard, so the powdered version will be just small enough not to damage the skin but still hard enough to have that peeling effect.
What do you think? Do you have sensitive skin and/or experience with scrubs that don't irritate the skin?
