Am I a goood candidate for Shamanic Healing, specially Soul Retrieval?

Hello,

In my love life (and also somewhat in professional life), I feel that I'm not able to have healthy, happy, long lasting relationships, despite I try with good intentions. I'm 40 and I'm just coming out of the only one proper relationship in my life; I've been with other women before, but the courtship etc. period never gave me any emotional fulfilment, unlike the most recent one, that lasted four months and was indeed emotionally satisfying, but ended on a very sad note. When I reflect upon the events that took place in this relationship or before, I can't help but feel that majority of what happened was not under my control, e.g. a few times I intended to have a proper relationships before, but they didn't, and this, despite me having been authentic and loyal to them and acting with genuine care. In the most recent one, we even declared our love for one another (my first time of this happening), and yet there was severe miscommunication that destroyed everything and my (ex) partner blocked me everywhere (despite I was loyal; caring but my fault was to criticize her harshly in a privately shared document between us, albeit it was intended for such criticisms and I took her criticisms well, and she did that first, before me).

Anyway, I feel not being able to progress and I've no idea why this is happening. I'm 40, and I'd like some stability in my love life. I'm fairly inexperienced in relationships, but am willing to learn.

I'm considering Shamanic Healing, especially Soul Retrieval, to heal any emotional wounds/traumas or psychological issues that I may have, so I can be more self-loving and loving to others. So I'm planning to have a few Shamanic Healing sessions to enrich my love life.

My questions are:

1) Given the details above, am I a good candidate for Shamanic Healing? If no, is there any specific healing(s) that can better the quality of my relationship(s)?

2) If I do end up taking Shamanic Healing, what are some homework that I need to do my own to aid this healing?

Thank you so much!

Book……”the five love languages” recommended by Miss H is excellent!

If you want my opinion, I would say to go and have a few sessions with a good therapist first and see where YOU are going wrong and what you could do to improve your relationships.

We all need to look at ourselves from time to time. No shame in that.

I would agree with what has already been said, you have to learn to love yourself before you can truly love anyone else.
No amount of Healing can repair your Relationships only you can do that

Perhaps you have already answered your own question.

Nothing in our personal life is ever random, coincidental, lucky, or unlucky.

Who we cross paths with are for helping us, for helping others, or for helping both sides to grow spiritually to greater love, compassion, maturity, and tolerance.

The further we move along the spiritual path the more we will understand what we earlier saw as our suffering and adversities will now be seen as grateful and welcome lesson opportunities to gain, or better yet remember, more wisdom and benevolent maturity leading to greater peace and joy in heart and mind.

The beautiful sacred human body was designed to have everything needed to heal ourselves. We have much more extra-ordinary abilities than what we have been told or conditioned out of believing. Abilities to have far greater control over our body’s health, our life, and our reality.

And the key to unlocking those benevolent abilities has always been love.

Love is much more than just simply a beautiful human emotion.

Have love for yourself and for others, and watch how that will begin to gradually make us see everything from a benevolent peaceful perspective with much less fear and worries that is the domain of our ego.

Love is the universal Truth, the way, and the life.

No surprise that all spiritually advanced human messengers here throughout the ages uniformly taught people a better way of living life that aligns with love.

Love is the most powerful and highest vibration multi-dimensional quantum energy and more.

Love raises the frequency of vibration of our cellular structures, shifting us away from this dense 3d part of reality we are living in to a more expanded multi-dimensional part of reality. Notice when we fall deeply in love with someone we are happy and life is great, behaving totally different than our usual selves that like to complain, blame, and judge.

After all, love that encompasses compassion, benevolence, and joy is our true nature. Our purpose in life is to through free will uncover that love within which is heavily cloaked by our false nature that is the ego.

Truly an amazing but extremely challenging human adventure of finding ourselves that we bravely and passionately “jumped in line” for when not in the human form in our true multi-dimensional home on the other side of the self imposed Veil of Forgetfulness.

Good to keep in mind we are not here to suffer. We are here with divine purpose to assist with the expansion of love on this beautiful young planet that some call a test between light and dark energies on this young planet. At our soul level, what we do here we had done on other young planets before this one. We just don’t remember by our own design.

All the best to you for a peaceful and joyful human life!

There are lots of healing techniques from many different cultures, but no matter what healing technique we may use they do not guarantee a lasting healthy condition. If you want to make progress you have to define what does progress look like to you? When it comes to relationships lots of people have a fairy tale image of what it should be like, but relationships happen in the daily reality of up’s and down’s. Love, and especially infatuation, has been often called “a state of temporary insanity.”

“Soul retrieval” suggests that you have lost your soul and I do not embrace that; more likely you have just covered your deeper being with self defeating thoughts and doubtful feelings about yourself. If you constantly tell yourself you are broken then you will feel and act like you are broken. Whether you see a Shaman, a relationship counselor, or some other kind of healer, the healing will come from inside of you.

I would suggest asking yourself why do you attract people into your life to have a bonded relationship with and those people do not stay? Most likely it has to do with your patterns of seeking and getting into relationships. It is easier to get into a relationship then it is to maintain a relationship. Journal, that is write down how different relationships which you have had began, what attracted you to that person, a little about the relationship, and how it ended.

Then look for similar patterns in the different intimate relationships which you have had. Of course all of this will be from your perspective, but it is important to be honest with yourself. There is no instant fix in my opinion, It is more of an unraveling of what may be standing in your way. You just may be in training right now learning about relationships and part of that training is to learn about yourself. There are lots of healing methods out there but believing in yourself is the greatest healer.

Lots of people have failed relationships before they find something which is lasting, and some people are just meant to live their life alone. Allow intuition to be your guide and stop beating yourself up over what is going on in your head. Love is a journey which can get deeper if we allow it to; as the saying goes “it is better to have loved and lost then not to have loved at all.” But it does not have to be a loss, especially if we learn and gain from the past relationships which we have had.

Hi Susovan, I appreciate your courage in sharing such personal challenges openly. It’s truly difficult to acknowledge these feelings, especially in a public forum. I completely understand your perspective; with the constant influx of information and the pressures of social media, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing we should achieve a ‘perfect’ life or relationship by a certain age. Your desire to progress and enhance this aspect of your life is commendable and shows great initiative on your part. Both Native spirit and Starman offered insightful advice: self-love is crucial, as is addressing and resolving recurring love-related patterns (like relationships, marriage, compatibility issues, etc.). Maybe look at what’s coming up and repeating in your life that you need to pay attention to and clear.

When you feel prepared and if it resonates with you, explore various healing practices: shamanic healing or reiki. My only advice is to approach these methods with an open mind and heart to allow for profound healing.

I send you my best wishes for your journey. You can do it! :)
You’ve already taken the first step towards the right path.
