[Unseeking Seeker]

flickering awareness that comes and goes
both reveals and conceals deep hidden truth
each neophyte then affirms as valid
enigmatic glimmers of light they’ve seen
who then proclaim the path to be trodden
blindly followed by those who’re yet asleep

this earth vessel has chores to do
but we know what’s known to but few
that we are but actors in stage
where linear time turns the page
and in truth life is just a dream
of illusions we chose to stream
the truth is there is no one here
what’s born will die, will disappear
back in the void, wherefrom it came
we know this yet we play the game
to imbibe within, vibes of love
as God’s grace in-pours from above

someone stands close whilst others stand afar ~
yet are not all lights, lit by the same star

I gazed at the moon, as friends sipped French wine ~
God’s light for all, thus became only mine

negating nothing, we flow on with ease ~
our soul’s mantra is, embrace and release

feeling each sensation, yet free from it ~
the lamp of God’s light, in our heart is lit
