pt 1
A sharp meadow consisting of sharp vegetation which bleeds
Individual's heads full of screens?
Terror persists as one clings to the twisted cream
A metallic society, how bleak!
Characters corrupted, while machinery seeps
Upon what was supposed to be thriving flowers formed from seeds
Through their facades it's easy to beam
pt 2
A meadow full of green
The blossoming outweighs the screams
Upon the dream one sends one's seeds
The pesticides were eliminated instantly
No need to evade the dead pastures, the key is at one's feet!
Newfound solace under a blue moon's beams
For the key was love and peace :)

I did see the synchronicity. I once took over facilitating my friend's poetry writing group which was meeting in a local book and gift shop. The format included a focus item, which I usually selected. Occasionally participants could wander in the shop and find an item that inspired them, bring it back to group. We had 20 minutes to write and then read our creations. The inspiration was almost tangible hopping from head to head. One poet might allude to lava, the next to a volcano, the next to fire or explosions. It was total delightful.

This is a form of mechanical verse I use to kickstart my poetry

The Meadow

6 lines w/6 syllables each, ending in Whatever, Started, Leaves, Mind, Were & Accepted (Randomly chosen words)

In taking whatever
On this route I started
Amongst the painted leaves

I happen on a mind
A meadow as it were
Repulsed and accepted.

8 lines w/ 8 syllables each, ending in Happen, Sensitive, Touching, Asked, Negative, No, My & Video

The Meadow

Waiting for something to happen
Instead of being sensitive
And watching the daisies touching
I'm mindful of being asked

And ready with a negative
A parody of Dr. No
A rascal who performs in my
Own pastoral set video

Phansy, I enjoyed the stark contrast between the two meadows and love the penultimate line especially...

Timothy - wow makes my 'one word' challenge look a bit simple!
Impressive stuff!

Uma, mysterious. The blood red flowers may have influenced my thoughts... a scripture came, "The plowers have plowed upon my back." So here are the thoughts that run through my mind reading and trying to become the one in this story of heartbreak and determination. A bold transition; turning away from an span so unkind to the spirit, that the coins and mattress are disposed of. At last, healing begins; and life is taken in hand a new way.

It was a long swim BW, but my contemplation is finally back to share..

A lighted spot, it caught my eye
A tiny open little divide
Of earth in meadows full surprise

Exposed and open to sun kissed gaze
I moved myself and spied a tiny blade
A vibrant soft, little flowing strain of grass
That flowed to and fro with the earth in part

I was so entranced
I wanted to get down inside
This little patch of earthly surprise

So I closed my eyes, and felt myself
Immerse and slowly begin to melt
Down and down deep inside
I felt myself changing form alive

As I came to be so very small
The little blade of grass it called
"Come closer here, right next to me"
So I gentle moved my tiny feet

With little body, I now could meet
All these little worlds as a treat

"Let us dance together said the little blade"
In that moment, I felt the sway
I let my feet be taken deep
By the warmth and care
Of this earth I seek

We all began to dance, so alive
In our little created meadow hive
It was a moment of living wholesome breath
A graceful humm, out of meadows respect..

Was worth the wait Nflow! I love it. Puts me in mind of Blake's grain of sand. I often contemplate the 'microcosmic worlds' until it becomes too mindblowing!
