Michigan
A Michigan law states that a wife's hair legally belongs to her husband.
A woman isn't allowed to cut her own hair without her husband's permission.
Any person over the age of 12 may have a license for a handgun as long as he/she has not been convicted of a felony.
In Rochester, Michigan, anyone bathing in public must have his or her bathing suit inspected by a police officer.
It is legal for a robber to file a law suit, if he or she got hurt in your house.
Smoking while in bed is illegal.
You may not swear in front of women and children in the state of Michigan.
Fun to read Toby.

That's a rather... suspicious law to have passed.
I can imagine it being there as a response to bait-and-booby-trap setups to punish would-be robbers, but it's not like they have any moral high ground.

From what I am aware with, a lot of these laws are incredibly old, some over 100 years old, they just have never been removed

I wonder if it's possible to guess how old a nation is by the number of silly laws still "on the books"?
I bet Britain has America beat in that regard. ;)

Yes that's interesting Fae Rei. I KNOW there have to be some funny old English laws out there somewhere, that would be good for a laugh I am sure! LOL I shall try to find some....
