wholesome hobbies

Hi Guys!

I was just wondering what everybodies hobbies are?

I have recently realised that my spiritual practise has taken over my life, which is obviously a good thing, but its left a bit of a void where i used to have hobbies and intrests. my love for boxing has died a death and everything else along with it

I am basically looking for new hobbies, ones that i can grow while doing - what are your hobbies :)

Hi Anthony,
Hobbies/interests... Hmm, well I would have to say any spare time I have is partially taken up with my tarot/Oracle studies and readings, Tarot is a passion of mine and I have been involved with it for over a decade, it's more a way of life for me than just a hobby!
Aside from that I have a keen interest in ancient Britain, from Early man, ancient customs, monuments etc, etc... I am especially interested and read up on and research the kings and queens of Gt. Britain though the ages...
On a lighter note walking is a hobby of mine, especially countryside and woodland, I try to indulge in that as much as possible! :)

hobbies are so personal...I consider most everything I do a hobby because of how my perception of life has changed.

gardening, reading and writing, photography, swimming...those are some of mine.

I consider cooking a hobby, I love it, even if it is for my family (my son, really). Reading and writing, music, and this forum, definitely :). Learning about religions as well, and I research Ancient India and Hinduism as well, but that is my religion, so I don't know if you'd count that. And certain outings, like going to museums and zoos, I suppose I do that often enough to consider it a hobby?

Try a dynamic hobby that bolsters your spiritual quest. I sail and fly, both offers opportunities of silence and serenity for the mind to reach out to intimately touch beautiful experiences in life. How about trail hiking or astronomy?
