I can tell you I have watched countless hours of Esther channeling Abraham, on DVD's, on You tube, and I have seen her do it in person recently (which was fun), so, yes, that is Esther's voice as Abraham.

If you are questioning whether she is channeling at all, or making it all up, well then, that would be for you to decide. I can only say I have channeled Abraham as well, so you can call me crazy too, I don't mind. It really is not difficult to channel them, and Abraham gives instructions, although by the time I found that clip on You tube, I had already channeled them. It is interesting for me to note that I was channeling someone else entirely when they rudely interrupted - that was interesting. They can *pass the phone* so to speak. As long as you an in the vibrational vicinity, in the neighborhood, as they like to call it, on their channel (98.6 FM as an example...), anyone can do the same :)

I will say, it sure livens up my life.

Here is Abraham on channeling them on their frequency - oh, and FYI, people are allowed to post Abraham "shorts" on You tube - I think they are allowed up to 15 or so minutes, otherwise You tube will pull them down if they are longer. So it is not Jerry & Esther that put the music or images in this clip - it is some random person that posted it. Esther channels in front of a live audience, and always has. And the only music they have is in the beginning or at the very end, before and after any channeling. It is quite the journey.

It doesn't matter... I've had a lot of experience wth breath based meditation and the video you posted on breath is low quality information, but it's the sort of pop culture hype that draws an audience.

For Lanza lady:
Hi lanza and well done for starting meditating, what happened to you in both instances (the two steps and the feeling of the tongue being out of the mouth) is simply the mind tricking you into losing concentration on your breathing. don`t worry, as this isn`t unusual, the mind doesn`t want to be still.
A simple rule of thumb, is that anything that takes your mind off focusing on the breathe, is a distraction. So as soon as you notice the mind has moved, go back to the watching the breathe.
Good luck

I want to do path finding work but I'm struggling with my visualization. My mind thinks of anything and everything other than what I'm trying to visualize and eventually I just fall asleep.

I really struggle with visualization :-(

Any suggestions?

Hello lanza, I am also new to meditation but from what i know so far is that you can't try too hard to visualize, it comes natrually, first you must get a thought, then a feeling, then the picture will come... alternatively you can get a picture, then a feeling, then a thought.. but if you start that way round (as you said you do) you will be trying too hard to create the "picture" start small, and the rest will follow.

Relax, focus on your breathing, and wipe the canvas clean, let nature grow over your canvas and create it's own picture, you, sit back and enjoy.

I hope i have been helpfull and i hope you progress!

Bobby

Thanks Petey,

I just saw your comment which is why I didn't thank you sooner. Just wondering though, why would my mind want to 'trick' me into losing concentration?

I understand that to begin with my mind is busy as it's undisciplined but why would it want to trick me into losing concentration on the breathing? It sounds like my mind is plotting against me lol :-)

Hi Bobby,

I'm so sorry, I completely missed your message too. Obviously I have no dea what I'm dong re following threads ha ha.

What you said makes sense. I actually visualize very well, but not about what I want to visualize. It's still very new to me and I know I just need to keep practicing.

Thank you
LL

To "LL"

Don't worry about it :) Ah i see! well I'd love to visualize my heaven and walk through and have a feeling of ecstasy but i don't really think it works like that... i think once you reach a certain point it might, but not at the early stages... but i find that, if a visualization comes in to play, let it flow and unfold, because if you think about it, it's you creating it, and you will always find a meaning if you reference it to (anything) you'd like to believe. They are your illusions.

Try letting them unfold, see how they work-out!

Calming anxieties ;)

I have been meditating for a few weeks now and with everything that is going on with me spiritually I am amazed my level of anxiety has drop sooo much and I am becoming much more focused on the tasks at hand. I'm working hat to improve me and this is a great tool in using other abilities that require complete focus. I started with 2 minutes then went up to 5 then 8 then 10 it takes time for sure I'm a mother of three so I always have a running mind. Goog luck.
