Need advice on type of energy work
I want to learn energetic healing.
When I look into ''reiki'' I see that the concept has been corrupted.
I want to learn an universal energetic healing method that revolves about spiritual advancement and healing not making profit.
Is Chi Gong the uncorrupted version of Reiki?

Look at Spring Forest Qigong, it's quite good.

No. Chi/Qi Gong is related to Tai Chi. Be aware that Qi Gong has two aspects, medical and martial art. Outside Asia, the martial art is seldom taught. There is little healing of others in Tai Chi. Both are somewhat related to Chinese medicine with meridians (includes acupressure and acupuncture).
There are many hands-on-healing techniques (what Reiki is); Examples Rolfing, Pranic. I do not have enough experience to say which others might be less corrupt. So if type of healing is what you want to do there are alternatives.

If you are after an "uncorrupted" :) form of energy healing, I suggest to try spiritual healing. Check out the spiritualist churches to learn how its done. Some of them run workshops for a donation.

Yes, I agree. Practice it everyday. Simple and powerful. There is internal healing/personal practice as a base, Level 1 and a lot of external healing on others in the following levels. Some very good meditations as well. I personally do healing on others in a more intuitive way now though, and don't follow any method.

For healing to be un-corrupted so to speak, the vessel needs to be un-corrupted. Tai chi and Reiki and many other forms of healing are a practise to heal or find a balance within the self and share yourself with the world.
Maybe that will take you down a path where you will give healing to others, or maybe down a different road entirely. But sometimes it's best to just try things, without a plan of where they might take you..

As Ivy says, the concept of Reiki is not corrupted. The practitioner may be corrupted, but the modality certainly isn't.
I teach my practitioners that they are NOT the Healers . . . that only the person seeking healing can heal himself/herself. They (the practitioners) are merely the facilitators of the healing process.
I have found that once you "put your ego in the backseat and give it a cookie" and perform Reiki on a client "from the heart" with the intention of assisting the client in healing himselfl/herself . . . the process is pure.
With regards to Qi Gong . . . It IS a wonderful form of energy healing and has been credited with facilitating not only healing but spiritual enlightenment. Best of all . . . it's simple to learn and practice.
The only similarity between Qi Gong (it's spelled many ways) and Reiki is that they are both forms of energy healing and enlightenment.
There are so many different energy healing modalities available, I agree with Ivy that the best thing to do is to explore all of them until you feel drawn to the one that resonates the most with you.
Also, it is good to remember that not one specific healing modality is the "ONLY ONE." I have found that it is sometimes necessary to combine different modalities in one healing session in order to assist the client with his/her healing process.
In Loving Service,
