reading tea leaves
I would like to know what some of you think, is it some form of divination, or just for a good laugh! I came across a site on tea leaf reading, and it doent look to complicated, and looks like lots of fun.
Thoughts appreciated.

Yes, indeed, reading tea leaves has been known to be a very common form of divination.
I met an old Romany gypsy once who used nothing else..and she was very darn good at it, too :)

Of course tasseomancy is a (legitimate) form of divination. It's a type of scrying, which involves seeing shapes in a medium and then translating them. It's not one I use a lot - if I do scrying I use simpler methods - but as a lover of tea I have some training in it.

One thing I think is useful for cast scrying is to couple it with drawing. Trying to draw what you're seeing can help you think about the shapes. It helps if you have formal art training, as part of that training teaches you ways of seeing things that you might not consider otherwise.

It all comes down to intuition, empathy, and imagination.

I would love to try reading tea leaves.. I'm hoping to start making my own teas once my herb gardens are planted and doing well so I would love to give this form of divination a shot. I'm usually pretty good at finding patterns and signs so I'm looking forward to learning tea leaves!

Reading tea leaves is an ancient astrology from India. It is called the Nadi. You can search for more information from the Internet. You can search youtube video on this Nadi too. Quite interesting I have to say.

Yes, I think it is a good form of divination. I haven't tried it or seen it but, I have tried sand readings which is similar thing I guess.
