Petunias are always a good Choice.
Buy them in punnets, already partly grown. They’re tough as old boots, grow in sunlight and give you lots of colour. Easy!

I like growing beans. The beans I grow generally get at least 15 feet tall and are self supporting. I cut one down and it had a waist of 22 inches.
Another plant I grow is various bamboos. Bamboo sprouts are excellent in oriental recipes.

At the moment, my favorite things are the herbs: chive, sage, tarragon, lemon balm. The chive and sage bloomed, all lavenders and purples. I made a fragrant bouquet of them and put them in a vase in the living room.
This weekend I will work on cutting and drying them.
