Why do so many people just exist

I am again looking up to and admiring your courage and downright fearlessness in the face of such horrible attitudes and behaviors. Omg. That's the thing. Co-workers and others whom you might witness abusing another have their 'friends' and supporters (for whatever flaky reasons they might have to support this bully). This brings an idea that they should have 'fake' patients who can defend themselves and act like they're weak to weed out the real bullies in these kinds of facilities. I mean, they have 'secret shoppers' to see how people working in the stores behave and operate. The horror stories we've all read and heard about, it's so sad.

I think it's very easy to become insular and close off to the 'bigger picture'. There are times when I feel 'lost', in emotional pain, tired and frustrated. It can take a while to realise that I've closed myself off and am not allowing my light to support and guide me. Many will live never having opened themselves up to spiritual growth at all.
When life has been tough (particulary as a child) and others have let you down, it can be hard to accept faith and guidance from any source.
Why do people act the way they do? Fear is often the guiding force.
