Fish Moon Moods

Tiny streaks of light
Slash and burn my dark world
Would that this mortal flesh had never mortared me
Chains of iron chaff these limbs
Drag my feet one more step and one more and one more
my cup rattles out to the darkness
Sweet Jesus!
Hoarfrost freezes my blood
This frail broken pump beats no more
Bleats for its shepherd
And the naked moon howls
This is the waiting this is the curtaining

wow.....that's amazing. I honestly can't think of anything else to say, except that it's a great poem. Did you write it?
