Hm. I have a number of old things. Some Napoleonic coins. A religious book from 1807 iirc, I don't have it here right now. A piece of a sword, a basket hilt, that might be 17th century. A sergeant belt that could be from the 1850s and several small percussion boot pistols from the same period.

I love that I have "postcards" in early colour with the messages on the back to the recipient .
Some of them are actually embroidered and edged with lace.
They were sent to sweethearts but mostly they were send to wish people "happy birthday " before the traditional birthday cards were introduced.
( I purchased them from antique fairs )...

A mosaic floral brooch - purchased from a vintage clothes shop - in 1969. (I recently managed to brush it clean, e.g. inbetween the small, coloured tile pieces with a bicarb solution).

I have a gold cross that belonged to my grandmother. I don't wear it any more though. It's a simple gold cross, but it's the only thing I have left that was hers.
