Clarification:
When a stone/crystal is referred to as an "Aqua" containing gold etc.. it's been treated or tinted with gold thus giving it the blue color. This same process is use when smelting glass . Add in a specific amount of real gold into the powdered slag/glass and later heated and use by glass blowers or glass factories like "Blenko" glass which we've visited and watch the process. This process creates a deep, rich looking blue color.
Another thing to consider it that the stone/crystal could be "rutile" or "rutilated" containing strands of tourmaline, silver, coper or gold.

Aura quartz are beautiful but expensive beyond reason, artificially enhanced so I would only shell out on this type of crystal if I really liked it from an aesthetic point of view. It's often charged at ridiculous prices that don't necessarily reflect the value or quality of the base crystal.
You can probably tell I'm not a big fan, but I do think the angel auras are particularly beautiful to look at.
