Missing my exercise
I've had a week of practically no exercise and I'm suffering. The best is probably 20 or 30 yard to the bus stop.
The reason being - I've been chained to the desk, 12hr days then a 2 x 1hr commute.
The work has been super stressful, the people I've been working with have been amazing and really nice and supportive.
To compound things, I've been eating JUNK to sustain my energy. Really, it's needed, although the work is sedentary I've been running out of brain power and have felt like sleeping at the desk.
I went for a walk today and I felt like someone had sucked the life out of me, I lacked vigour.
I'm sure it's a combination of junk and lack of exercise but I didn't realise how quick it was to get down. However, I don't think it would be easy to get back on track - not least that i have another week of torture in the work-front.
What do people do when they can't work out? And are there good tips for snacks for when feeling tired?

Hi there Belle,
If you cant workout and youre tied to work then i would suggest eating healthily to compensate and give you more energy.
Dont eat grains cos they wipe out energy, stick to protein, veg, salads, nuts seeds and fruit or dried fruit.....oh and drink lots of water
You can work out under the desk , so to speak lol ie; good toes, naughty toes! and rotate ankles!
Have some fun , laugh when you can and dont work TOO hard .

If you want to be healthy you need to eat right and move your body. You must make a commitment to yourself. Walk every chance you get, walk at lunch for example. Eating is simple. Buy fruit to keep at your desk, if it comes off a shelf in a package stay away from it. Stay away from sugar, and drink plenty of water. Don't find the time to exercise and eat right, MAKE THE TIME.
You can do it.

You can always do exercise at home, even if is raining or very cold.

I agree with the above. Plenty of raw veg, veg juice, just for a pick-me-up nutrient wise. Bombard your body with goodness when feeling flat.
Also make sure you sleep! Don't stress about the exercise just yet. If you have another crazy week coming up, make sure you eat well and get good sleep. Once things have settled at work, you'll be able to exercise again. And if you find things don't settle, go for walks at lunch time.

Seems like you're under a lot of stress.
If you don't have time for exercising, I suggest eating healthy (no carbs, more proteins and healthy fat and vegetables) and staying positive.
Like don't force yourself too much, try to take some small breaks during work hours.
