8 of Swords as advice...

Hi all, hope you had a great New Year and have so far been enjoying 2016!

As I have previously mentioned, I am in a dilemma where I must choose between two people romantically. I have been sensible and not acted on anything until I am 100% sure. I feel this person, who I have read about, is the person who I truly care for and would like to be with.

I chose the 7 card horseshoe spread to read from and asked "Should I choose 'X' as a romantic partner?". My advice card was 8 of Swords which I was confused by. I decided it meant 'open your eyes and free yourself from fear of making the wrong choice'. The Outcome (or romantic potential) was Ace of Pentacles which I took to mean 'stable and fruitful opportunities'.

Please help me out, I need a fresh mind because I don't want to be biased. What should I do? I have the full reading at hand if you want to refer to it

Hey there! I got the 8 of swords as advice once for a reading I did about an externship. Even though this is a different situation, it could be telling you to be aware of your own personal limitations regarding this choice. Also, the 8 of swords sometimes comes up when we feel as if we're trapped but we can easily free ourselves. So you may not be as trapped/indecisive as you feel. Deep down, you may know who the right person for you actually is.

Also, the Ace of Pentacles could be physically manifesting your ideas and desires so I'd take that as a good outcome for this reading.

It could also refer to physically staying put - now may not be the time to act on any decisions. In many of the cards I've seen, the figure represented can't move because of the swords surrounding them - so may be inaction rather than action (perhaps you need to wait for the other person to reach the same emotional point as you?).

Sometimes when confused, I like to draw an additional hidden influences or clarification card :)
