Moving About In the Astral Realms

I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience. While projecting into a different reality, (astral plane) I have noticed how different moving about can be.

If there is a structure, for instance, and I am on the outside of it, I notice that when one goes to move to the inside of it, you are sort of automatically inside, like you are mini-transported there by intent I guess.

It is not like here, like if you want to go inside a structure, you go up to the building, hand on the door, and open it.

Has anyone noticed these "differences" of movement. Just wondering.

It is similar for me, yeah. Although it depends entirely on what kind of projection I'm doing, what "reality bubble" I'm in at the time. In some cases I have to do more of those normal steps between. Other times it feels like a smooth, fluid, slow movement forward and through the walls and to where I'm aiming (reminds me of that scene in Donnie Darko where the watery stuff extends out from people and toward their intended next movement just before they take it - I feel like that happens to me sometimes). Still other times, it seems as though I glitch out, like a skipping CD/DVD (with a million not-quite-there movements as I hone in on the spot), and then zap me into the precise location; that split second just before I "land", there's that glitched out feeling where it's as though I'm in millions of places all at once in a general circle around the area where I'm trying to land, that circle narrows at lightning speed, and then collapses down into me being in just one spot.

I sometimes have this annoying problem where I want to float through a wall, but if I focus on that wall, I can't get past it. I have to essentially "forget" the wall is there or I'll slam right into it and get stuck.

Movement in other places can be really freaky sometimes, lol!

BHS, Thanks for answering so quickly...just was curious about other's and their experience with movement.
It would make sense the physics are different in a less dense environment...

Does anyone have any tips for skipping up levels...while actually out? I have only been able to ascend consciously once. I believe it was with the help of a teacher. Even then I got kind of tangled around. But got where we were going in the end.
