Why does biblomancy sometimes give me the wrong answer?

I have been using the bible and key method of divination together, whereby, the key is placed in a certain passage in the bible, and bound with string. I'm pretty sure the key is in the right spot, and that I'm saying the chant correctly for it to work with my friend, however, sometimes the answers are right and other times they are wrong. For example, if I ask my birthday, it always answers correctly by spinning the right direction, however, if I ask if I will get into a specific university or program, it's wrong. Why? Is it truly guided by heavenly spirits or uncleanly ones, or is it guided by my own will of what I want the answer to be. As well, after using it for a long period, I leave the bible to rest, and even open it up sometimes to release the energy. Thanks in advance for the advice!!!

I am curious how you can get your birthday by using bibliomancy ? Isn't that when you turn to a certain page in the bible and get a certain passage or answer in connection with your question ?

and for the times you ask " if I ask if I will get into a specific university or program, it's wrong. Why? " ........

just curious, how do you know the answer is wrong ?

Thanks for inviting me to the forum Adrienne! I've heard of biblomancy where you turn it to a certain page and get an answer but in this method you place a skeletal key on the passage "bear no false witness" and bound it with a tight string. You then hold up the key by your index figure with another person on the opposite side, and repeat a chant. One person chants the positive, and the other person chants the negative. Whoever the bible spins to that is the answer. Maybe the verse I have it placed on is wrong?

For the second part of your question, I know the answer is wrong because I got rejected from the program :'(

You are welcome for the welcome and thanks for explaining on how the divination works. I never heard of that version before.

Just a thought, maybe instead of using the skeleton key and string with the bible verse, just use the key and string as a basic pendulum ? and ask your string/ key ... pendulum questions, getting either yes/ no or maybe answers ?

Start by asking your new pendulum, to show you which way it will swing for a yes answer, and which way to swing for a no answer. Then ask it a specific yes/ or no question that you already know the answer to... to confirm which way it will swing for the yes and which way it will swing for the no answer.

Maybe the answer was correct regarding the program you didn't get into and you are meant to be in a different program ?
