So I went on a date this week with a guy that I met online and I really like him. We had a great night together at a restaurant and as he walked me out to my vehicle, I thanked him for the wonderful time. However, I didn't say, "Thank you for everything, ~his correct name~." I said someone else's name! A co-worker's name
I was so embarrassed, but I tried to hold back the blushing and nerves by calmly explaining that I work with the guy and lately this week we have been working a lot together for the students (he and I are teachers). But my date seemed flustered and upset. He did chuckle at it, but it was that kind of chuckle that was like, "I can't believe you did that!"
I feel so bad and have been upset afterwards cause I really do like him. We got home late from the date so I didn't expect to hear anything from him for the rest of the night and the next morning I sent him a text thanking him again for the wonderful time and all. I am not sure what else to do except that it breaks my heart cause of one silly mistake that I did. Did any of you guys ever done such a thing and what can you do to fix it?
