2 dreams about washing hair

I soak my hair by dunking my head under an outside hose at my place. I walk to the back and theres something about a cat that approaches that we know to be on a LOST poster. My mom wants to leave it be to likely die as a sacrifice for a greater good, but i disagree and argue with her, and plan to find the LOST CAT poster to contact the owner. Theres something about a dog being happy with this decision.

In the second really short dream - a stylist is washing my hair at a hair salon using an experimental shampoo, and a woman beside me also having her hair washed doesnt like the new shampoo.

It means you dipped your head into emotional waters recently drudging up the past and your feelings about things that you Mom wants to leave in the past.

Washing our hair means cleaning/healing our thoughts. I suspect you may have some past catty behavior you didn't want to look at and deal with but your friend side sees it as a good idea even if your nurturing/emotional side is wary. Healing in general is a trial and error process. So you may try some approach and decide it isn't for you but try to stay open minded. Just because one angle doesn't fix things doesn't mean another won't.

ultimately I think the dream is saying you are ready to work on confronting behaviors you are not happy with. But try to remember our soul doesn't really see anything we do as bad or wrong. Our soul understands we as humans are prone to act out from time to time out of fear, anger or just plain learned habits. Sounds like you want to become less catty. Maybe less of a person who gossips behind people's back? I suspect something to that effect. Just be patient and gentle with yourself and you can move past it.
