Soul ascends only after lower mind dies,
requiring us to relinquish each desire,
that thus upon heeding our soul’s fervent cries,
our ego’s consigned to the funeral pyre.
Drums of heaven resound in our glowing heart,
where breath by breath we feel bliss ignition start,
wherein whence touched by God, we become the flame,
radiating love and light that has no name.

ego snarled
brewing angst
as thought forms

our free will
makes a choice
how we live

we sense spirit indwelling form
whose light is shrouded by ego
it should not be as such yet it is
until fears and desires we let go

As Ida and Pingala collaborate,
kundalini rises along both pathways,
passing through our eyeballs, with intent to mate
at our third eye, wherein entwined our soul prays
to God at crown, so we must not make Him wait,
that His grace ignites within, all rainbow rays.
Behold oh hermit, play of bliss magnetism,
illumining fully our mind-body prism.

we met a friend today
who triumphantly exulted
his profound void experience
as he correlated it with scriptures
jubilant on his remarkable breakthrough
we did not have the heart to tell him
he had but scratched the surface
and that ego death awaited

given that what we seek
will in time consume us

we chose to be consumed
by the flame of love and light

to this end we invoked
power of pure intent
resting in the vibrant void
of silence and stillness

the false fell away
but what died never was

who we were, are and will be
manifested as living light

third eye and navel entwine
whilst Bindu point looks on
toroidal heart hums silently
each breath is a new dawn

entwined thus nodes dance
playing ring-a-ring o’ roses
fragrance of joy fills the air
as flower petals shift poses
