What does it mean to get feelings Out Of the blue ex. I got the same feeling that I had when I was at the beach back in my country. I got a feeling Of joy and I remembered the smell? I get stuff like that ex. remembering a smell from nowhere. What does it mean?thank u

From what I can tell you are just experiencing random memory fragments, they bubble up from time to time. It's part of having a human brain. Simply memories - to be enjoyed =D

Smells are one of the most powerful memory triggers.
No matter how brief you may have smelled something or someone perhaps many years ago, if you experience the same smell again years later, it can create a spontaneous transference back to that place or time perhaps in the briefest of glimpses and yet so powerful. I think if we can enjoy these moments, no matter how fleeting, is a very good thing as it can be most uplifting.

I kind of agree. Smell is one of the most powerful triggers that human memory responds to. There is a chance this is just something from the past that you had forgotten. If you've connected that scent with an event in your mind which brought pleasure, it's likely that you will feel a small amount of that pleasure when you smell the scent again. I believe it's called passive classical conditioning.

I may be wrong though. Gods know I'm rather new to this. I hope you enjoy these happy emotional flashes :)
