That was a quote from my post. Some examples:
The Bible mentions 144,000 three times in the Book of Revelations. Jehovah's Witnesses claim that 144,000 is the number who will reign in heaven with God. In Islam 144,000 is sometimes said to be the number of Muhammad's companions or the number of prophets. There are other religions that use the number.
