Unhappy dreaming troubles?

i was wondering if i could get advice from anyone. i have an awful habit of having negative dreams; i've only experienced lucidity in them twice (i'm fairly good with astral travel when i'm awake, but sleeping is tricky and usually comes by mistake), and i really don't like the feeling of not having control that i more likely than not experience when asleep.

when things are going well in my waking life, i tend to experience the exact opposite in my dreams. be it about my relationship, my jobs, my family; everything goes wrong as soon as i close my eyes. i've recently attempted a ritual to aid in these odd nightmarish situations, but my sleep still feels restless and difficult.

has anyone experienced things like this before? i've had at least one very negative spirit in my life in the past, but he's been gone for a long time now. this new one seems different. i'm not even sure if it's a spirit? it feels more like my sleeping self hates my waking self...

any advice?

To me, whether they're positive or negative, we receive dreams for a reason and you can learn about yourself from both types, but the negative dreams often shine the most light. So you should want to receive them so that you can learn from them and then transform them by transforming yourself.

I can understand that you like to lucid dream and always have control of your dreams, but to me its like telling a teacher you know better and skipping school. It's okay to do every once and awhile and can be fun, but if you're doing it all the time, you're going to miss what the inner teacher is trying to teach you.

Dreams are like the mirror of the Soul. There is the truth that you THINK you know and then there is the REAL truth and the Soul always knows the REAL truth. Your life may be going well for you outwardly, but you can still have dreams that seem negative, scary or frightening because of how you feel inwardly, or how you really feel. These types of dreams are often the direct manifestations of deep seated fears, concerns and or worry. All of which can be healed once you're aware of them.

There could also be other reasons why you're receiving dreams that seem negative, such as changes in diets, relationships, environment or medications. If you're concerned that it might be spirit related, I suggest that you bless and cleanse your sleeping area and your house and see if that improves the situation.

Anxiety can cause this. Also look closer at real life situations. Look at how satisfied you are with them, and what you would like to change about them.

Hello

Yes I have experienced the opposite extreme in my dreams compared to life a few times. I've put this down to my 'self' seeking wholeness; perhaps my conscious mind isn't embracing the whole picture so my subconscious is making me aware of what's missing. Sometimes (not saying it's you, but it has been me) a quest for peace and positivity leads to a glazing over or even neglect of more 'negative' feelings and experiences which need to be acknowledged for one's potential to be reached. This is the conclusion I've come to when I dream this way. Dreams simply don't lie. They're not nonsense as some people believe; we dream what we do for a reason. Hope this helps!
