What kind of crystal is this?

I was thinking white agate or quartz but I am unsure. Anyone know?

Have a close look and see if it's pale pink, rather than white. If it is, it could be rose quartz, which occurs in a wide range of shades of pink.

Quartz can also occur in an opaque or translucent white form, so this could be that. And since I don't own white calcite -- just clear, orange, and green -- I will leave it up to the people who have white calcite to discern if this stone could be that.

Cool heart, BTW. Very pretty. :)

It could be a form of Moonstone. I have seen some Moonstone that had than tannish look and didn't have the refraction attribute on it's surface that Moonstone is known for. These look incredibly close to the picture you have:
