Here's the short answer Fikre. First, don't desire to change the world, begin by learning that the world doesn't need your help to change. Once you have that idea sitting somewhere comfortably inside, then perhaps you can revisit this topic and see how fruitless it is.

By all means, reveal to people the possibilities of your version of an ideal world, but you're falling into a delusional trap if you think that a messiah complex will assist anyone.

Small acts of love and service to your fellow travellers are perhaps a better way to involve yourself sincerely.

I couldn't agree more with you fikre.

"Be the change that you wish to see" comes to mind. I suppose all one can do is have faith in oneself and in others... and hope that more and more come to acknowledge that within their path lies the possibility of a greater purpose.

But just remember, at the end of the day, how one chooses to live their life is entirely up to them.

How do you change the world? Isn't that the biggest question of them all? Firstly, the world is a massive place, with many different people and beliefs. Positive change for one person may generally not be positive change for another, you have to take it on a case by case basis.

I realized a long time ago that we are probably not going to change the world and make it into a utopia. It would be lovely if we could, but in reality I don't think its going to be possible with the current systems of control we have in place at the moment.

Start changing the world around you. Help those you are surrounded by, support them, guide them, heal them. Speak to your community, build your community.

You won't change the world. But you can change your world.
