Book Recommendations?
Looking to read up on hypnosis for self and others (for healing purposes).
I'm looking for an easy read, too scientific and I probably won't be able to follow. Lol
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

Hi Luv,
You may want to check out the Deep Trance Training Manual by Igor Ledochowski. It's good for the linguistic side of things. I can also point you to some online resources but message me privately. I don't know the policy on here for linking other sites.
Cheers!

Trance-formations by Bandler and Grinder is an astonishing book that uses nested loops to subconsciously teach you hypnosis as you read it.
Training Trances by Silverthorn and Overdurf is about as transparent as hypnosis gets.
What you do when you get the client in a trance is the same for any therapy and I've yet to see any resource that covers that to any reasonable standard.

great suggestions here. especially bandler and ledochowski. My personal picks. Id really consider listening to seminars. you get so much more, hearing HOW they...talk. You just dont get that dimension with words on a page.

I agree fully! Listening allows you to experience the techniques at work- at least with ledochowski and bandler. :)
