There's an important aspect to keep in mind.
When you project into the Astral level you're not experiencing how things will be after your body dies and your spirit is free. While you're alive here your spirit is still tethered to its body by the so-called silver cord. Put simply, the situation when astral traveling is very different from that after corporeal death.
It's also a common misunderstanding in people who experience NDEs or OoBEs. Often they believe they have experienced how life is in the so-called summerland.
