Counting every stone on the mala it comes out to 111. i know its suppose to be 108 bead mala traditionally, but do these numbers still work, or are they bad for a mala? and i know im not suppose to count the guru bead, but do i count the pendant into anything? i could add two extra citrine marker beads for 7 instead of 5, bringing the mala to a total of 111 beads without the pendant and guru. But then the total stone count would be 113, and i know anything 13 is bad. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

111 is a special number.... I would go with 111.

As for bead count, the count number is different depending on the belief systems.
