I don't know but it can be because of the symbolisms in it:
Maha Vishnu emanating from Krishna; Garbhodaksayi Vishnus emanating from Maha Vishnu; lotus sprouting from navel of Garbhodaksayi Vishnu; Brahma from the lotus.
