YES!! it's based on a true story. I saw this a few years ago on msnc in the wee hours of the night. I think my mouth opened in shock with the twisted turn of events!
The title is meant to interpret as "Tall Hot Blond". A man who finds love on the internet.
It makes you think, the internet is unregulated and open. We never know who we are really talking to. I think a lot of people make up stories on who they are as well. It's up to us to believe, hopefully with caution!
