Love this , I have been researching ancient celtic religion known as celtic paganism, especially relating to the the picts of scotland (being a scottish lass myself) and reading this and the connection with nordic and slavs , especially north of scotland , highland and surrounding scottish isles, there is sights, ruins and stones linked to ancient paganism.The burning the straw effigy was still a celebration (thanks to the film the wicker man) which turned in to a folk festival in scotland.
