Hi. I've been going throughout this a few times in the past few years. It started with a divorce and continued through a steep learning curve of goodbyes.
It is a grieving process like anything that we have to say goodbye to.

What A human being says is good advice.

Keep up a routine of things that you love to do as well to recover any sense of self which you may have given over to the connection.

It's pretty much about focus once you choose to say goodbye and choice about what you focus on for the now and into the future.
