I'm an empath and I noticed this about myself about a year or so ago. I seem to isolate myself a lot of the time due to the weight of the world I feel a lot of the time. I want to help the world and help people, but I feel people's sadness and I can see how sad they are just by looking into their eyes. Sometimes I will have random outbursts of crying due to everything I feel. So I need to unwind by listening to a lot of music and watching movies to escape. It helps me get through the day. I'm taking care of myself a lot better this year than I have a few years ago.
