Anytime electrons (electricity) flows through something conductive an electromagnetic field is produced ....that's literally all it is!!!
Where you have lots of electron flow at high amperage...like a high tension power line....you have a big electromagnetic field.
Or an electromagnetic field can be very small such as produced by the batteries in a Childs toy.
