"mummy do you remember before", said my firstborn. So ok... He's just turned 3 and I'm thinking " when does he mean?". Of course being a responsible and caring parent I should of course known instinctively what he meant.... But I didn't. Did he mean this morning?... Yesterday?... Last week?.... Apparently not. In frustration he yelled out "before mummy... Before.. when I was a man".............. Ermmmm... Ok son.. I wasn't expecting THAT! ... We coversed and he told me about the time he was a man and was mainly on a boat and wore something like either a smock/coat, that went right down to his feet.... And then he skipped off happily to play with his toys.... And left mummy in state of shock!!!
