Part 3 The Seven Sisters of Lore

We will digress from the story in order to provide background which will lead to the events of the next part.

In the first story we traveled with Lady Pumpkin to a portion of the mid astral plane that is set aside for animal souls. We visited animal heaven where they rest just like we do between incarnations. There we had interesting experiences. It was from that point that we continued to the higher Earth realms and finally to our spiritual center, our star. In this journey we go directly to our high mental plane heavens in preparation for the next phase. We have just arrived in the highest of the Earth’s local heavens, our mental plane. We are at a level at about the one third point. We wait…

Of the eldest times on Earth we know little. Those who have access to the astral plane hall of memories are more fortunate however. But regardless it is a truth that no stories remain untouched through eons of telling and retelling. So it is now as we attempt to piece together a tale, a very ancient one. But since the story only sets the stage for the present we may allow it to be satisfactory.

We have come to call them the Pleiadeans. The word simply means “those who sail the vast expanses”. The people themselves had their own names of which we remember naught now. Their origin was the cluster of stars known as the Pleiades. As we humans tend to do we mix truth with inventions and create legends. It matters not. The fact of visitors from those distant suns is factual. And they were colonists. We remember them now as the sisters, seven in number. But only three came to our world. These are the sisters of lore. Although parts of their exploits are fictional they are, on the whole, true accounts. Our world was visited by them, long ago. Here is a bit more…

What little we remember of those times are given us by the Greeks and Egyptians. Of course there are other accounts in the east, especially from ancient India. But here is a note of interest. At a time very remote, perhaps as far back as 150,000,000 years ago, a group of adventures, colonists arrived at the Earth intent on staying permanently, continuing their line. They originated from three planets associated with the group of stars that we know today as the Pleiades. Since the dominant of these groups were matriarchal we come to refer to them as the sisters. The home stars were seven. Since their arrival humanity has come and gone several times on Earth. Legends have a way of remaining though. Gaps of knowledge have always marked the interstitial periods but knowing this the people’s of each time left records. This is the way it was…

In our era it was the Atlantians who kept the records. For those who are interested a vault still exists within the rock basins of the now deep ocean west of the entrance to the inland sea. Those who knew of impending doom made duplicates of those and carried them to new repositories in both Greece and Egypt. This is the source of the tales regarding secrets beneath the lion’s paw. They are true. But back to or story now…

In the generations succeeding the arrival of the travelers (from Pleiades) the home lands were visible in the heavens; not forgotten. This is when the legends of the seven sisters were first devised. They, originally, were meant to honor the memories of those great ones who were left behind (in the home star systems). Daughters of prominent women were named after those elders who would never again be known. A sign of respect. And later when the Greeks transcribed these stories they wrote the names in their own language. Today we recognize them as entities in Greek mythology but we may not have a full appreciation of their full stories.

In Greek the names of the seven were:

Taygete, Merope, Maia, Electra, Celæno, Asterope and Alcyone These name also are recorded in old Egyptian. Those who have an interest may research them. You will find that the were given to be gods probably because of their mystical antiquity. It is true though that both the Greeks and the early Egyptians knew of the records that told of the ancient ones. Many tales were later adapted and given, then, modern contexts. This is the way it usually is with men. But now back to our story… The return of our guide, the Lady.

To be continued...
