Alec23. Another thing that would help is visualising BOTH of you smiling and looking at your new house by the sea and saying things to each other such as, oh aren’t we lucky to live in this place etc. see it, smell it, feel it. all this helps to create a new reality.
I know, cos I’ve done it for years.
Just another thought. You state that your wife wants to be in the city and you want to be by the sea. Well isn’t a relationship a two way deal. Don’t mean to be disrespectful but why not say to your wife that you have spent so many years being where you don’t really want to be cos it made her happy so how about she spend a few years we’re YOU want to be which would make you happy. Seems reasonable to me.
I feel most of us spend our lives honouring others, which is good but sometimes we need to honour ourselves as well! We tend to forget that.
Oh well just my thoughts of course.
