A gal I met about 5 yrs ago had been taking off 80 lbs in the year before I met her. She was headed for diabetes.

She eliminated MOST white foods: breads, donuts, cookies, bagels and most refined whites.

Personally I stopped bringing bread into my house about 11 yrs ago. Long story but it was time to take more control.
