Deer season 2019!!!!!
I totally forgot about this thread from last year but to get up to date for this year.....
In my home state of Texas archery season opened up Sept 28th and it runs to Nov 1st when the general season (rifle season) opens up.
So we have about 2 more weeks for archery only.
And I hate to admit this, but I've been so busy with business that I have yet to go.....but that all changes this coming weekend as I'll be in the woods on and off for the next 2 weeks!
My grandson Nick on the other hand has been out in the woods a lot since opening day and has already put "arrow to venison" getting a nice mature cull buck on 10/2... the morning of his birthday!
That's one fine birthday present for a new 12 year old!
