I've always held the belief physical incarnation is a spiritual gymnasium.

We all have muscles, and the majority can walk, yet if we use gymnasiums we can improve our stamina and aesthetic significantly in a relatively short space of time in relation to our overall lifespan.

I personally apply this logic to our souls. That our physical experience is mortal and vulnerable, which engenders fear and ego, amongst other painful phenomena. What better way to refine the soul than to expose it to pain, so such experiences can be lived through, and overcome, therefore making the soul stronger and wiser. How can a soul know its own wisdom and joy if it hasn't experienced ignorance and pain to measure it by?

I can't imagine having access to all cosmic consciousness without having reached it authentically, by earning it. It would be like reaching Everest's summit by helicopter. The view is the same, but the experience would lose the truth and authenticity of spending years training to climb it, then actually climbing it. What a true gift hardship on the physical earthly plane is.

Any, gotta go. I've an appointment with an earthly treadmill (the tax office), followed by some worldly sit-ups (the demanding boss)!
