In the sense that large part of populace may not be feeling it now due to tremendous material successes , it may be imagination . But in the sense that it really exists and many in the past world over have seen/experienced and these are documented in the languages / accents prevalent during those times . So person reading it has to take extra effort in understanding it and apply good rigors of logic while reading and interpreting it.
