I am quiet fortunate to live in the country side, definitely plenty of walk to inspire the mind.And of course my dear dog Chester injoys his walks also. So it made me think, this time of the year Always reminds me of the shedding of leaves on our trees. It’s a time of letting go, the same as Mother Nature’s process of change. We let go of the old or thoes things that hold us back. Making way for the new
So feeling a little inspired today to write a little about the beauty in Autumn Iam sure you would agree.


Today we walk together
You and I
We follow the cobbled path
Down the lane
Next to the old farm house

Looking out to October’s
Golden light
Such beauty to see
As I kick the crunchy carpet
Of nature’s leaves
Of yellow, red and brown
I am reminded that faithfully
Each year
You spellbound me with
You’re ways

The smell of your spicy sent’s
Flow within the breeze
Of cool, crisp air
It’s clear to me, this is my favourite
Season wouldn’t you agree

I then find a small trail
Leading into the woodlands
Ay, thou art welcomes me to
Heaven’s delight
As the chestnuts lay bear
To the ground
And each small creature
Make an earthly appearance
I am humbly honoured
But before I leave
I place my hands upon
Dear mothers oak tree
Saying a sacred prayer to
Wisdoms store house

So now I find my way back
Through the small trail
In the woods
Back down the old cobbley path
Past the old farm house
Back home, for a nice hot
Cup of tea
And a pice of pumpkin pie
