It reminds me of a saying in Katho Upanishad, were Yama offers many things and when every things is rejected by Nachiketa and he seeks only Knowledge, Yama said "There is Pleasurable(Rajas) and Preferable(Sattvic)"...

So, Boredom...Now I understand, what you really seek (the domination of Rajasic). Bless you to escape boredom/"PEACE" and attain the limitations of pleasure and suffer, like GOD blessed you giving the life, to seek actions/lessons/life/universe/any materials-attain-suffer the limitations,
