I got through most of the Bond film 'Goldeneye' last night, for nostalgia as much as anything - I can't enjoy these loud action films any more, I prefer more reflective, thoughtful films nowadays.
Although having said that, I got the Alfonso Cuaron film 'Roma' on bluray for a Christmas present, and I still haven't gotten around to rewatching that yet (I first saw it a fews years back). Not sure I've quite got the sensitivity (or the attention-span, more to the point
) to appreciate it at the moment, even if it
is probably the most beautiful film, both visually and also in terms of its story, that I've ever seen.
