I didn't say there was anything wrong with what we'd been discussing.
Only that the financial side is not our business unless we've been included in it or are, for example, offering a donation for a particular purpose. On that last point I raised the matter of ring-fencing any money offered that way.
Of course there's absolutely nothing wrong with anyone offering help, be it financial or practical. I made the point way back in this thread - since removed by the moderator because I mentioned the website's owner by name - that the right person to contact would be the person(s) who pay(s) the bills.
