For me this IS a parallel reality. It is not the one I was born to. So if you want to know what it is like, look around.

Occasionally I go out into the world and its not like I remember. Usually its only slightly different. You may be thinking that memory is not all that reliable, which is true. I have has a couple of interactions with friends where we remember different interactions between us.

In one case I remembered a conversation about a change in her work schedule which she did not. We realized the difference. She did not remember a conversation and verified there was no change in her schedule. That work schedule change happened a day later.
